Ventura Green School Award Presentation

At the Monday, November 16, City Council Meeting, the Mayor of the City of Ventura will present the annual Green School Award to Lincoln Elementary School. This award sponsored by the City's Environmental Services Office in conjunction with Agromin Premium Soil Products, honors a school that has shown exemplary efforts to help our environment. Lincoln was selected for their amazing recycling efforts at their school. The funds raised from recycling pay for their art program.

Environmental Hero awards will also be given to Pierpont School as the "Water Conservation Hero", Loma Vista School as the "Energy Conservation Hero", Portola School as the "Recycling Hero" and Montalvo School as the "Environmental Education Hero".
